GameHound is a bot for Fluxer that watches game stores and posts every free game to a channel in your guild, the moment it goes free, with the price you save and a link to claim it.

Yes. On fluxer.app every feature is free, for as many guilds as you like. Only the Nest plans, which connect the bot to self-hosted Fluxer instances, are paid.

Log in with your Fluxer account, pick your guild in the dashboard and click Invite. Then open Configure and choose the channel for announcements. That is all.

Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Humble, Ubisoft Connect, EA app, itch.io, Prime Gaming, IndieGala, STOVE. Stores are checked every few minutes and new freebies are usually posted within a quarter of an hour.

Yes. Use “Using Canary?” next to the login button and invite links will open in web.canary.fluxer.app.

!hunt shows every current freebie as a browsable carousel (try !hunt steam to filter by store). !settings shows this guild’s setup, !notify opts you in or out of the alerts role, !test posts a test announcement, !invite gives you the invite link and !help lists everything. The prefix can be changed in the dashboard (a space after it is fine), and mentioning the bot always works: @GameHound help.

Open your guild in the dashboard: the setup check at the top tells you what is missing. Usually the bot’s role needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in the channel, or announcements are paused, or your filters skip the freebie. “Send test announcement” confirms it works.

Yes. Create a role such as “Free Games”, choose it under Mention in the dashboard and tick “Let members join this role with !notify”. Members then type !notify to opt in or out on their own. Pinging @everyone is also possible, but rarely welcome.

Yes. Filter by store and by type (games, DLC, in-game loot, software), set a minimum original price, and choose whether to include free weekends and low-value giveaways.

No. GameHound only tells you about free games; you claim them yourself on the store. We never ask for your store accounts or passwords.

The bot speaks English, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Spanish, French, German, Swedish and Polish, chosen per guild in the dashboard. The website is available in the same languages: pick yours at the bottom of the page.

Yes, with a Nest plan. Fluxer instances don’t share users or guilds, so the bot has to be connected to each instance separately. With the Nest you create an application on your instance, paste its bot token in the dashboard, and GameHound runs there with your own bot name and avatar.

Online payments are coming soon. Until then, plans are set up by hand through our Fluxer guild, and you can cancel at any time. After a plan ends the bot stays on your instance for a few more days before it disconnects.

Only what the bot needs: your Fluxer user id and name, the guilds you manage, and each guild’s settings. Tokens are encrypted at rest, and you can delete your account yourself on the account page. The privacy policy has the details.
